Tinniswood, nacido el 26 de agosto de 1912 en Liverpool, ostent\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo del hombre m\u00e1s anciano del Reino Unido y del mundo desde 2020, cuando fue reconocido por el Libro Guinness de los R\u00e9cords. Su deceso se produjo tras la muerte, en abril, del venezolano Juan Vicente P\u00e9rez, quien vivi\u00f3 hasta los 114 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El brit\u00e1nico fue una figura admirada por su car\u00e1cter y su vasta experiencia de vida. En un comunicado, su familia destac\u00f3 que, en su \u00faltimo d\u00eda, estuvo rodeado de m\u00fasica y de amor. Adem\u00e1s, agradecieron al equipo de la residencia Hollis Care Home, que lo cuid\u00f3 en sus \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, en nombre de <strong>Tinniswood<\/strong>, quien siempre mostr\u00f3 gratitud a quienes lo atendieron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEra inteligente, decidido, valiente y un gran conversador\u201d, destac\u00f3 su familia. Tinniswood, un ferviente seguidor del <strong>Liverpool <\/strong>F.C., tambi\u00e9n era conocido por su habilidad en matem\u00e1ticas y su tranquilidad ante cualquier crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante su vida, Tinniswood trabaj\u00f3 en diversas \u00e1reas, incluyendo el servicio log\u00edstico durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y su labor en las empresas <strong>Royal Mail, Shell y BP<\/strong>, antes de retirarse en 1972. En 1986, qued\u00f3 viudo de su esposa Blodwen, con quien tuvo una hija, Susan, quien le dio cuatro nietos y tres bisnietos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lo largo de su vida, Tinniswood recibi\u00f3 numerosos reconocimientos, incluyendo una tarjeta anual de felicitaci\u00f3n de la familia real brit\u00e1nica, primero de la reina Isabel II y, m\u00e1s recientemente, del rey Carlos III. En 2012, se mud\u00f3 a la residencia de ancianos Hollis Care Home, poco antes de cumplir 100 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El r\u00e9cord de longevidad sigue siendo propiedad del japon\u00e9s Jiroemon Kimura, quien vivi\u00f3 hasta los 116 a\u00f1os.
